History
The Jaguar MBT is a prototype tank based on the Chinese Type 59. It resulted as a collaboration between Cadillac Gage in the USA, and the China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation in China, with the base tank itself designed by the USSR. It is armed with an 105 mm gun and boasts a stabilized gun and improved optics over the Type 59. The armor make up is classified and includes a wide variety of advanced countermeasures. Development of the Jaguar began at some time in the mid-1980s, and was formally announced in late 1988. The two main contributors were Cadillac Gage in USA, and the China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation in China. Though the Jaguar was already fully planned-out by mid-1989, the political fallout of the Tiananmen Square Massacre forced the US and Chinese teams to part company, and China apparently lost interest in the project. Undaunted, Cadillac Gage continued development of the Jaguar alone, finally combining the hull and turret in October 1989.
In Game
The Jaguar starts out at a pretty high level with very few upgrades. Most say it performs disappointingly. The Jaguars best combat role is medium or close ranged combat, it is highly suggested to play as a support due to its high HP but bad gun and armor.

Pros:
- Fast turret rotation, though still slower than all of the other Chinese MBTs (except the Type 99)
Cons:
- Alpha damage is low, DPM is poor
- Cannot use HEAT ammunition
